Our Story
Mploy was founded in 2006 with a mission to create employment and skill development opportunities for previously disadvantaged school leavers.
What began as a local initiative soon found a niche in the market research industry. Within a few years, we were contracted by both large and small research firms across South Africa to carry out data collection for qualitative and quantitative studies.
Initially operating in Mpumalanga, we quickly expanded to Limpopo and KwaZulu-Natal, and by 2014, we had established a presence in all nine South African provinces, as well as Lesotho and Eswatini.
Since 2018, we have broadened our reach to international markets, acquiring global clients and taking on multi-country project management. Our services now include high-level quality control and the use of advanced data analytics. As our portfolio has grown, so too has the technical expertise of our core team, with a focus on data analysis using Python and R.
To date, we have successfully conducted fieldwork in eight other African countries: Namibia, Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Nigeria.
True to our founding purpose, we continue to provide work opportunities for school leavers and individuals eager to learn and deliver consistent, high-quality results. With strong demand for our services and a growing client base, we remain committed to expanding our offerings to support innovative research designs and evolving industry needs in both market research and social surveys.
