Experiment with South African Coal Miners
In collaboration with the University of Cape Town and the University of Geneva, we supported a joint research project examining the potential impacts of future energy regulations on South Africa’s coal industry. This study aimed to understand how policy changes might affect coal miners and the broader economic landscape.
As part of the research, an economic experiment was conducted involving 450 coal mine workers. Our role included recruiting participants and providing facilitation support during all focus group discussions, ensuring smooth and effective engagement throughout the process.
This project highlights our ability to manage complex fieldwork in specialized sectors and collaborate with leading academic institutions on research with significant social and economic implications.
